Abbey Stanton

I have been a part of the Robur community since January 2023. Prior to having Ajdin as my coach, I trained at another small gym where technique was not their main focus. Ajdin has not only corrected my form in lifts but has also been able to guide and teach me to lift heavier weights properly. I have gained confidence in my lifts and still, to this day, am working towards more than I thought I could achieve.

Even though coaching is online, I feel that I personally know Ajdin, and that makes check-ins and training blocks fun! He is very accommodating and understanding. Not only a coach to me but also someone I can always talk to if needed (about gym matters or personal issues). With a great personality and always aiming for the best for me, I couldn’t recommend a better coach 💪🏼.

Ajdin has both a very methodical, process-driven approach and a no-nonsense manner of speaking and explaining. I’ve learned a lot from him about the why and how of what we do, while massively improving my movement quality. He’s also a person I have a lot of respect for and always have a good chat with on our check-in calls. The personal connection he makes shows the investment he has in getting the best out of his athletes and setting them up for success.

Muj is the MVP! He has a wealth of knowledge and applies it incredibly well. He listens to his clients but is also happy to tell them no (which is what I need). He keeps things challenging and works with injuries rather than around them. He is very easy to talk to and wants what’s best for you in both your training life and personal life. His programming is always fun, and he really understands your goals and how to help you achieve them!

Ajdin has been my coach for a year this month. I’m training for an upcoming physically demanding course for my career – If you’re willing to do the work, Ajdin is with you 110%.

The training is completely tailored to you as an individual, and Ajdin understands that the daily outside pressures of work/life all have an impact on your training and performance, and Ajdin regularly checks in with you, adjusting the training accordingly.

One of the main reasons I picked Robur, and Ajdin in particular, is for their combined knowledge and the way they articulate their training programs, with a science-based approach that is all about smart training. With Ajdin’s coaching and consistency, I am hitting goals each 5-week training block.

Ajdin has a goldmine of knowledge not only in the physical but also in the mental side of high-performance training. I can rely on him for any advice or training tips, and I truly feel like a priority whenever he is giving me advice. Whether it’s in the fortnightly check-ins or the questions I might have throughout the week, Ajdin is always passionately seeking the best way to help me, and I’m sure all of his clients. It always makes me, as a client, feel much better knowing that Ajdin is training just as hard and always looking for constant, never-ending improvement in all facets of his life.

If you want to be the best, you’ve gotta get the best, and that is Ajdin.

Ajdin has been great. He has been accommodating in all aspects of my training, from exercise selection around restrictions from previous injuries, to exercises to fix my posture to mitigate niggles, and adapting training to my fatigue levels so I don’t burn out. This is all while still having the ability to push and progress me towards my goals.

Prior to Ajdin, I looked around for a coach/trainer for a while to facilitate my goals, and Ajdin ticks all the boxes.

Ajdin is a fantastic weightlifting coach. He really loves what he does, and it shows in his willingness to adapt and strive to learn as much as he can to be an even better coach. The program is always interesting, and his feedback is good and has really helped me improve technically and in numbers.
