Your Tactical Training

Coach Tom

Having spent 7 years within the Australian Army Infantry and a further 3 within Police General Duties and Specialist roles, I have seen the difference that a physically prepared person can make to a workplace and job—shifting a culture, silently motivating your colleagues, and being able to face any challenge. That is why I place such an emphasis on being able to perform when it counts…which could be at any time.

The Minimum Standard Tactical Training Level 1 Program (TTLV1) is designed to give the everyday tactical athlete everything they need to develop themselves while still being able to perform daily at work. The program will develop the athlete based around 4 key qualities (Respiratory Ability, Mid-Line Development, Upper Body Capacity, and Lower Shank Resiliency) while targeting multiple facets of performance in the process.

The programming will use a combination of training methodologies and incorporate individualized elements to ensure you get the absolute most from your time and effort. Throughout a week of training, you can expect to train for a maximum of 90 minutes, 5 days a week, with an optional 6th session. The training blocks will be structured to ensure all qualities are trained throughout the year, with the focus shifting every few months. You will be able to track your own progress based on testing conducted at the start and end of each block as required.

While this is not a 1-on-1 coaching option, there will be interaction with myself and other group members through a group chat ensuring you know what is going on, and so any and all questions can be answered. And since community is such a pivotal part in our jobs, this group will link you in with others in your area to get a training group together to tackle some TTLV1-only challenges.

If you’re looking to become a true asset in your workplace, this is the program for you. Are you ready to become reliable and resilient?
